Alana Landrum serves as the Lead Artist at Civic Design Studio, a prestigious firm known for engaging local artists in transformative projects throughout the Bay Area. Joining as an intern in 2021, Alana's remarkable talent and leadership qualities swiftly propelled her to the forefront of the Art Squad. In her current role, she masterfully leads her team in a variety of endeavors, aimed at enhancing the aesthetic and cultural value of local businesses, educational institutions, neighborhoods, and affordable housing developments. These projects are intricately designed to resonate with the values and visions of the clients.

Alana's responsibilities are multifaceted and pivotal to the success of each project. She excels in coordinating artist schedules, conceptualizing and creating both digital and traditional artworks, managing logistical aspects, and steering her team towards the successful creation of each project. Her leadership has been instrumental in the completion of several major projects, with her most notable achievement being the design and implementation of an impressive 360 square foot mural at Brooklyn Basin Affordable Housing in January 2024. This particular work stands as a testament to her artistic prowess and her ability to lead complex, large-scale artistic initiatives.
